- Silent Block -

• Create contentblock-regex.txt in profile directory and write regular expressions to block matching URLs.
• contentblock-whitelist-regex.txt for whitelist.
• Restart Firefox to reload files.
• See error console for blocker results.
• No GUI.



• Multiple files can be loaded. Add extra files as
  contentblock-regex.txt
  contentblock-regex1.txt
  contentblock-regex2.txt
  contentblock-regex3.txt …
  contentblock-whitelist-regex.txt
  contentblock-whitelist-regex1.txt
  contentblock-whitelist-regex2.txt …
  The number must be sequential starting with 1.


• To use custom directory, open about:config and specify the directory path in extensions.silentblock.altdir .

• silentblock-0.0.18.9-fx+fn+an+sm+tb.xpi
• For Firefox 3.5 and later, applications with Gecko 2.0 and later. (Thunderbird 5.0 and later etc.)


• silentblock_sample_kids.tar.gz
• Sample for kids protection. Blocks everything but whitelist.


• silentblock_sample.tar.gz
• Sample. Moderate ad blocking rules. Extract into profile directory to use.
